How it works
A paint and sip session is a social event where participants gather to create art while enjoying their BYO drinks and nibbles. The session takes place in our relaxed, casual art studio, and is led by our instructor, Penny, who guides the group through the steps of creating a specific painting project. Each session has its own “Theme”
The “sip” part refers to the opportunity to enjoy a BYO beverage (often alcohol or non-alcoholic drinks) while the “paint” part focuses on the creative process. These sessions are designed to be fun and accessible for people of all skill levels, with the emphasis on enjoying the experience rather than on creating a perfect work of art.
In addition to painting, paint and sip events often include socializing, laughter, and a relaxed atmosphere. It’s a popular activity for date nights, birthday parties, girls’ nights out, corporate team-building events, or just a fun way to spend time with friends.
As the session starts you will be guided step by step to create your own work of art.
Each class runs for 2 to 3 hours including 5 mins to gather.
Arrive at the advertised time, you are given 5 mins to gather, pop your drinks in the fridge and catch up with your friends or chat with some new ones before embarking on your creative journey.
You can BYO snacks and BYO all drinks including Alcohol
You will be given an apron, easel, paints & brushes to use and you will take home your 30cm x 40cm art work.
Feel free to take your drinks and snacks to your easel.
Once you are seated, you will be taken through a step-by-step and well guided process to create your masterpiece.
Our artist will walk around the room regularly to ensure that you are comfortable with all the processes.

- Creative Freedom: Customize your artwork to make it uniquely yours. Whether you’re a seasoned painter or a beginner, our sessions are designed to be enjoyable and stress-free.
- Complete Amenities: We provide all the necessary art supplies, including canvases, paints, brushes, aprons and easels. Plus, we offer drinkware, plates, fridge and complementary “help yourself” tea and coffee. Just bring your favourite snacks and drinks.
- Social and Safe: Join us with friends, family, or come and make new connections in a welcoming, rural space. Our studio is designed to foster creativity and connectivity !
You can reschedule a booking within 7 days of an event. Booking changes within 4 days of the event will incur a $20 reschedule fee.
There are no refunds or credits for “no shows”

The Art Shed on Dore is a very relaxed space that has a concrete floor and limited heating and cooling. It is a shed in a paddock so comfortable relaxed wear is best.
We use water based acrylic paints that should was out in water, however aprons are available for use during the session.
If weather permits, the roller door will be lifted to let the country air breeze in. If you suffer from hay fever /allergies you may wish to bring relevant medications, just in case.

When you arrive in the driveway, please drive UP the hill and park at the back of the Art shed where you will find the entry door.
Free parking is available on site in the surrounding paddock. It is not flat so some care will need to be taken.
Tickets are $45.00* per person plus booking fee . *Some sessions (like Paint you Pet) are subject to pricing changes.
Group Bookings
Minimum Group size is 10 people. Cost per person is $40.00 with direct bookings

It is best to arrive 5 minutes prior to the session start time to get a park, pop your drinks in the fridge and settle in.
Late arrivals will have to “catch up” as the sessions won’t wait.
Art Shed on Dore is BYO drinks and nibbles.
We provide drinkware, paper plates, fridge, and aprons.
We do not sell or provide any food or drinks in our studio.
Art materials are included and you will take your canvas home to keep.
